ABOUT Aspen
Amazing Aspen Colorado
Just over the continental divide in western Colorado, Aspen has been the king of the rocky mountain high since the 1940s. John Denver was right when he penned the lyrics to his famous song. Established by miners in the 1800s, this magnificent skier’s paradise was a hidden treasure of the surrounding Elk Mountains few discovered until the 20th century.
Nestled amongst three picturesque mountains, Aspen has it all. There are plenty of Aspen hotel options from Aspen Motels to the world-famous ski resorts of Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highland, and Buttermilk.
